IBPS : is the independent common written examination for banking recruitment like P.O and clerkical jobs. IBPS is accepted by 19 pubic sector bank across India. IBPS Exam
Different banks across India accept IBPS score card for their recruitment purposes. After qualifying the IBPS exam, one can apply for any jobs of the bank accepting IBPS’s scorecard for one year. Its score is valid up to one year, one does not need to give any other exam of that bank except personnel interview. There is separate exam for post of clerk and P.O. (Probationay Officer), however if you qualify for IBPS PO exam then you do not need o qualify for clerk exam. Following are different IBPS exam types:
IBPS CWE PO/MT for the position of Probationary Officer or Management Trainee : Conducted twice in a year.
IBPS CWE Clerk for Clerical positions : Conducted twice in a year.
IBPS Specialist Officer : This exam is announced from time to time and covers specialist positions in banks.
IBPS RRB (Regional Rural Banks) Exam : Another kind of exam.
